DescriptionMiracle on 34th Street (20th Century Fox, 1947). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Darryl F. Zanuck had so little faith in this now-perennial favorite that he ordered it released in May rather than the Christmas season because "more people go to the movies in the summer." It has become one of most beloved classics from the era, thanks to stars Maureen O'Hara, Edmund Gwenn, John Payne, and the sensational little Natalie Wood. Gwenn would earn an Oscar for his delightful portrayal of Kris Kringle. This lovely one sheet has signs of handling like mild edge and fold wear, slight fold separations, minor tears, and pinholes. The poster also shows unobtrusive smudges and a couple of very minor chips in the folds. Folded, Fine/Very Fine.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
