MGM Exhibitor's Book (1925-26). Exhibitor's Book (11" X 14") (114 pp.). This beautiful 114 page book was bound at four points with a ribbon binding. It begins with 18 great portraits of the "The Men Who Make Them for Metro -Goldwyn." Included are Harry B. Mayer, Irving Thalberg, Fred Niblo, Erich Von Stroheim, and Tod Browning. Then follows the "First 26 MGM Pictures," which includes full page ads for films such as "Mysterious Island," "The Merry Widow," "The Unholy Three," and "The Big Parade." Separating each ad is a full-page roto-gravure photo of the stars hinged at the top of the photo and framed with graphics on each page. Such stars as Lon Chaney, Lillian and Dorothy Gish, John Gilbert, Roman Navarro, and Marion Davies are included. Finally at the back of the book is a two-page fold out of "Ben Hur." This book has to be seen to be appreciated. Many of the pages have separated from the ribbon binding but the book is still in very presentable condition. Fine.
