DescriptionMademoiselle Striptease (Corona, 1956). French Grande (47" X 63") Clement Hurel Artwork.
On the cusp of transforming her image from an alluring but innocent youth to the sexual icon we know today, Brigitte Bardot here stars as Parisian school girl who's far too voluptuous for her own good. Despite the scandalous title, Bardot's scenes in this light-hearted romp are tame compared to her later performances in such films as And God Created Woman. Artist Clement Hurel provides a tempting portrait of Bardot for the viewers in this Heritage first, with costars Daniel Gélin and Jacques Dumesnil making appearances in the background. Touchup has been applied to the folds and a few minor chips in the upper crossfolds. There has been partial touchup to some minor chips in the upper border, and the poster has mild unaddressed ink transfer. From the collection of John McBride. Very Fine- on Linen.
Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
