    Description

    M (Unidis, 1960). First Post-War Release Italian 2 - Fogli (39" X 55") Dante Manno Artwork.
Inspired by the crimes of a real-life murderer at large in Düsseldorf, German director Fritz Lang created yet another classic that ventured outside the normal bounds of early filmmaking. Peter Lorre gave the performance of a lifetime as child killer Hans Beckert, a part specifically written for the actor by Lang himself. Despite it being his first ever starring role, Lorre's bone chilling performance disturbed audiences and enthralled critics, gaining international praise and the attention of Hollywood. The blood-curdling image on this large format poster is a perfect fit for this horror classic, courtesy of artist Dante Manno. The 2 - fogli has edge wear, slight fold separations, pinholes, a lower left corner chip, and toning at the edges. There is a tear in the left border with cellophane tape on the verso. Folded, Very Fine-.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
