DescriptionLove on a Pillow (INCEI, 1962). Italian 4 - Fogli (55" X 78") Franco Fiorenzi Design.
Brigitte Bardot becomes the object of Robert Hossein's indifferent affection in this classic tale by director Roger Vadim. The film was an exploration of a relationship where a woman falls in love with a man who exploits her money and abuses her verbally and emotionally in the process. She has a need to be needed and will subject herself to any cruelty to fulfill her co-dependency. The movie was very ahead of it's time and helped solidify both Bardot's and Vadim's reputation as artists in the cinema. Featuring a design by Franco Fiorenzi, touchup to this large-format poster has been applied to the folds with small crossfold chips. There is a post-restoration stain in the left border. Very Fine on Linen.
Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
