    Description

Little Rural Riding Hood (MGM, 1949). One Sheet (27" X 41").
The last in the series of Tex Avery's "Red Hot Riding Hood" cartoons is one of his funniest and silliest. City Wolf's country cousin is lured to the city with a photo of Red Hot Riding Hood, abandoning homely looking Little Rural Riding Hood. He promptly goes crazy when he sees the beautiful showgirl in her nightclub, with all of the over the top antics typical of an outrageous Avery cartoon. Telling his cousin he can't handle city women, City Wolf takes him back to the country, but City Wolf goes crazy when he sees - you guessed it - Little Rural Riding Hood! Prior to restoration, there were small chips and tears in the borders. The linen has been trimmed up to the border, the borders have been airbrushed, and there has been minor touchup to the folds. Rarely offered, this one sheet features a gorgeous Red Hot Riding Hood and a slavering country wolf! Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
