    Description

Little Robinson Crusoe (UFA, 1925). Folded, Very Fine-. German 2 Sheet (37" X 56").
Beloved child actor Jackie Coogan is back to his antics again, this time starring as an orphan cabin boy who is shipwrecked on a remote island with wild animals and cannibals to boot! At the height of his Hollywood popularity, Coogan drew in crowds for this comedic family film which was advertised in the 1924-1925 MGM Exhibitors Book as there having never been "...a bigger attraction with which to clean up positive profits." Paper for this movie is quite rare, and this German 2 sheet boasts art indicative of the time, showcasing Coogan and his wily nature. This stone litho poster displays such indications of age as slight edge and fold wear, small fold separations, and pinholes. There is mild toning, as well as minor tears and chips. The verso has pieces and strips of cellophane tape, some of which are bracing splices in the lower crossfolds with light touchup applied.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
