    Description

Little Orphan Annie (RKO, 1932). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. One Sheet (27" X 41") Harold Gray Artwork. From the Mike Kaplan Collection.
Presented for the first time at Heritage, this is the only known copy of this one sheet. The first film version of Harold Gray's famous comic strip is more faithful to its origins than any of the later film adaptations. Mitzi Green plays Annie, who along with her dog Sandy, faces the perils of Depression-era homelessness after her separation from her adopted father Daddy Warbucks. This poster shows such indications of use as a couple of pinholes, minor fold separations, slight creases, and mostly unobtrusive stains.

    Estimate: $1,500 - $3,000.
