DescriptionLilli Marlene (Minerva, c. 1953). Fine+ on Linen. Italian 2 - Fogli (37.5" X 54") Anselmo Ballester Artwork.
Lisa Daniely is angelic on this lush Italian poster. Directed by Arthur Crabtree, this British historical drama is about a songstress named Lilli (Daniely) who earns radio fame during the Nazi occupation. When she is captured by their forces, she's coerced into making pro-German propaganda speeches. Featuring beautiful artwork by Anselmo Ballester. There has been touchup to fold wear and separation, pinholes, tears, and small chips. Some of these issues are still visible, as are tape stains in the borders. There is a partial trim in the borders, but this does extend into the printing by about 0.75" on the sides and 0.5" at the top and bottom.
Estimate: $600 - $1,200.
