    Description

Life Goes On (Million Dollar Distributing Co., 1938). Folded, Fine-. One Sheet (27" X 41").
Sent specifically to segregated African American theaters of the day, this this drama told the story of a family torn apart by crime, and how they must come together to save a wayward son. Louise Beavers gives a great performance as the mother that would do anything for her two sons, played by Reginald Fenderson and Edward Thompson. A Heritage first, this poster has signs of handling including edge and fold wear, mild fold separations, creases, and small tears. There are staple holes, small chips at the edges, stains, as well as misfolds. The right and lower borders have some paper loss, as well as the right side of the center horizontal fold, which all have splices attached on the verso with masking tape. The splice at the fold is from another poster from a one sheet of the same title with some touchup applied. There are pieces of masking tape bracing some folds on the verso. Folded, Fine-.

    Estimate: $400 - $800.
