    Let's Get a Divorce (Paramount, 1918). One Sheet (28" X 41") Style A.
Billie Burke was a stage actress first and foremost. Starting in 1910, she was the toast of Broadway, performing in such plays as Suzanne, The Runaway and The Land of Promise. In 1913, Burke married legendary producer Florenz Ziegfeld Jr. and in 1916 began her career in Hollywood. She became popular starring in many comedies over the next four decades and is well remembered for her role as Glinda, the Good Witch of the North in the Wizard of Oz. Burke is seen on this stone litho one sheet that depicts her as a young woman who is infatuated with romance, and therefore easily bored with her relationships with men. John Miltern, who plays her husband, is also featured on this style A one sheet. The color on this poster is remarkable considering it was printed almost one hundred years ago. There is staining on all the borders that goes into the dark background on the left side, edge tears on the folds on the left side, and a light dust shadow on the top border. The interior art looks in near perfect condition. Folded, Fine/Very Fine-.
