    Description

    Lawless Range (Republic, 1935). Three Sheet (41.5" X 79").
John Wayne is a lawman on the trail of cattle rustlers in his fourth feature for Republic. It doesn't take long before he discovers a greedy local banker wants to scare residents out of town so he can plunder secret gold mines. The film is notable for the tunes "sung" by Wayne, such as "On the Banks of the Sunny San Juan" (Wayne's singing voice is actually that of Jack Kirk). This gorgeous stone litho three sheet showcases a magnificent portrait of The Duke. It had tears with chipping in the folds and borders. There is a chip in the upper right corner into the background, and loss in the blue background along both sides of Wayne's face. Professional restoration has addressed these issues, leaving the poster with a display worthy appearance. Very Good/Fine on Linen.
