Description

    Lawless Range (Republic, 1935). Half Sheet (22" X 28").
John Middleton (John Wayne) sets out to investigate a series of cattle rustlings, but ends up discovering a much bigger plot to seize several secret gold mines in this wild and early Republic Western. This film is notable for the fact that John Wayne "sings" in the film as he was being promoted as the next singing cowboy, (Wayne's singing voice was actually supplied by character actor Jack Kirk). This wonderful half sheet has vibrant colors and though folded, has relatively minor fold and edge wear with small tears. There are pinholes in the borders and background, smudging in the background, slight cross fold separation, and writing in the bottom left. There are two half sheet styles for this title and this is the first time Heritage has offered this version. Folded, Fine+.

If my clients were to auction something of significance, having Mike as the auctioneer would be a deal maker as far as I am concerned.
