Lady Gangster (Warner Brothers, 1942). Very Fine- on Linen. Six Sheet (80.75" X 78.75").
Lady Gangster is the second film adaptation of the 1931 play Women in Prison by Dorothy Mackaye, as a remake of the pre-code Ladies They Talk About. Based on her own experiences from San Quentin State Prison, where she served a prison term for helping her lover cover up her husband's murder, Mackaye's experiences inspired this sordid story. This is Heritage's first offering of this large format poster, which has been restored to address edge and fold wear, mild fold separations, and moderate tears. Also addressed are small chips in the folds, pinholes, as well as misfolds. There are small unaddressed smudges in the borders. Very Fine- on Linen.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
