    Description

Ladies of the Mob (Paramount, 1928). Insert (14" X 36").
In this 1928 crime romance, Clara Bow plays Yvonne, whose criminal father has just been executed. She begins running with the thugs of the underworld and falls in love with Red (Richard Arlen), a small-time crook who Yvonne thinks she can reform. In this dramatic, shadow filled insert fraught with tension, Arlen draws his gun and clutches a wide-eyed Bow. Heritage has only had this poster once before for this now lost film. The director, William Wellman, would go on to make other classic gangster films, including The Public Enemy with James Cagney. This poster shows slight edge wear, border creases, a minor chip in the lower left border, and some mild tears. A few of the tears extend into the interior, and there are some unobtrusive stains. Rolled, Very Fine-.
