DescriptionLa Dolce Vita (Columbia, 1961). Full-Bleed British Quad (30" X 40").
Few directors are as revered and imitated as Federico Fellini, a true artist whose style of film-making mixed dreams and gritty reality with a touching sense of humanity. After struggling financially with his early films, La Dolce Vita broke all box office records and garnered world-wide acclaim, marking this as one of many Fellini masterpieces. Filmed mainly at the Cinecitta studios, we follow stars Ekberg and Mastroianni as they escape the paparazzi through the streets of Rome. There's no shortage of vivacious color and exquisite detail in this British quad, only the second copy we at Heritage have ever had the pleasure of offering! There are few flaws to be found in the poster, with touchup only applied to the folds and a mild tear in the upper left background. Very Fine+ on Linen.
Estimate: $6,000 - $12,000.
