    Description

    Ken Maynard's Wild West Circus (1936). One Sheet (28.5" X 42").
In between filming cowboy pictures for Columbia Studios, Ken Maynard took his talents on the road with his very own show, known as Ken Maynard's Diamond K Ranch Wild West Circus and Indian Congress. The production was supposedly just as big as its name, boasting such attractions as trick riders, a "double menagerie," and over forty Sioux and Cheyenne Native Americans. Of course, Maynard was the star of the show, performing all manner of tricks and feats with his incredibly intelligent horse, Tarzan. Making its first appearance at Heritage, this brilliant stone litho poster has been conserved to repair fold wear and separations, mild chips and tears in the borders and folds, and some paper loss in the upper right corner that extended a bit into the background. There is some unaddressed edge wear and a few visible creases at the top. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.

    Estimate: $500 - $1,000.
