    Description

Johnny and June Carter Cash Presidential Birthday Letters (United States White House, 1995). Signed Birthday Letters (2) (Framed, 8.25" X 10.25" & 10.5" X 13"). Country Music.
From one Arkansas native to another - President Bill and his wife Hillary Clinton writes to wish Johnny and June Carter Cash a very happy 63rd and 66th birthday, respectively. Johnny was born and raised in Kingsland, less than fifty miles from Bill's childhood home in Hope, and would grow up to become the original bad boy of country music. He married into royalty with June, the daughter of Maybelle Carter of Carter Family fame, and the two would go on to perform together and love one another for the next 35 years, until her death in 2003. Unrestored letters with bright colors and clean overall appearances. The frames may show general signs of use, such as slight edge and corner wear, or faint blemishes on the glass. The frame for Johnny Cash's letter has additional small chips in the wood, along with a sticker of authenticity in the lower left corner. Both letters have been signed "Bill Clinton." Heritage believes these letters to be authentic, but please know before bidding that no Certificates of Authenticity are provided. Please see full-color, enlargeable images above for more details. Overall Grade: Very Fine.
