DescriptionJean Harlow by Clarence Sinclair Bull (MGM, 1930s). Very Fine. Portrait Photo (11" X 14").
Vintage gelatin silver, double weight, satin finish photo. Jean Harlow was labeled a "screen siren" for her sensational dialogue and revealing costumes, but audiences, directors and producers alike appreciated her flair for comedy and drama. Had she lived longer, it is likely that she would have stayed on a successful path in Hollywood for years to come. In an acting career that lasted only 10 years, Harlow forever established herself as one of the most captivating actresses of all time. This beautiful portrait by famed photographer Clarence Sinclair Bull is one of her best. There is a corner bend in the top right. The photo has a slight wave to it.
Estimate: $2,500 - $5,000.
