Description

You Only Live Twice (United Artists, 1967). Rolled, Very Fine. British Quad (30" X 40") Style B, Frank McCarthy and Robert McGinnis Artwork.
Always a crowd-pleaser, this sensational poster features Sean Connery's James Bond flying in to save the day in "Little Nellie," the spectacular gyrocopter that has since become one of the more memorable images from this film. In this thrilling fifth entry into the popular series, Bond travels to the Land of the Rising Sun, and finally comes face-to-face with his arch nemesis: criminal mastermind Ernst Blofeld, who heads SPECTRE. It's up to Agent 007 to foil Blofeld's attempts to kickstart a third world war, in Sean Connery's final turn at playing Bond in the 1960s. Although he thought that this would be his last Bond film for good, Connery was coaxed back into appearing as the famous secret agent in 1971's Diamonds Are Forever. This country-of-origin poster shows minimal signs of wear, only slight creases and faint smudges, as well as some graphite writing in the lower right corner.
