One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A, Frank McCarthy and Robert McGinnis Artwork.Sean Connery's 007 defies gravity in his quest to stop SPECTRE villain Ernst Blofeld from enacting World War III on this exciting one sheet. While the original novel had Blofeld's hideout in a seaside castle, the film upped the ante to have it inside a raging volcano, skillfully depicted by Frank McCarthy and Robert McGinnis. You Only Live Twice was expected to be Connery's last turn at playing Ian Fleming's famous super spy, but after George Lazenby's single run, he was coaxed back by producers Albert Broccoli and Harry Saltzman for Diamonds Are Forever. This poster shows minor signs of wear, including pinholes, slight fold separation, mild creases, and some smudges and stains, as well as pieces of cellophane tape on the verso bracing small tears.
