You Only Live Twice (United Artists, 1967). British Quad (30" X 40") Style A.Die-hard 007 fans won't want to miss this country-of-origin poster from the fifth film in the Bond series, set in Japan and the first to reveal arch-villain Blofeld, played with devilish zeal by Donald Pleasence. Sean Connery is at the top of his form, and the screenplay was written by the eccentric author Roald Dahl, best known for writing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In Ian Fleming's novel, Blofeld's hideout was a seaside castle, but for the film it was changed to a raging volcano, thus inspiring this fantastic British quad. Light edge wear, corner bends, and extra horizontal creases are the only signs of handling to note. Very Fine-.
