Live and Let Die (United Artists, 1973). Very Fine+. German A1s (2) (23" X 31.75") 2 Styles. Created exclusively for flagship theaters in Germany, these striking posters debuted at the film's premiere. Held together by a single rivet in one corner, they were designed to fan out like a deck of cards with each one a symbolic fragment of the film's deeper themes. Inspired by the enigmatic tarot reader who appears on screen, the four cards evoke powerful archetypes: Sex, Tod (Death), Glück (Luck), and Teufel (The Devil). Offered here are two of the original four posters, Tod and Sex. Starring Roger Moore, Yaphet Kotto, Jane Seymour, Clifton James, Julius W. Harris, Geoffrey Holder, David Hedison, Gloria Hendry, Bernard Lee, Lois Maxwell, and Madeline Smith. Directed by Guy Hamilton. Unrestored posters with bright color and clean overall appearances. They may have general signs of use, such as light edge and corner wear/corner bends, soft to minor creases, a couple of smudges and scuffs, and a few micro chips and tears along the borders.
