    James Bond Trading Card Lot (Glidrose & Eon Productions, 1960s). Trading Cards (Approximately 421, 2.5" X 3.5" & 2.25" X 3") 3 Styles, & Bubble Gum Box (3.5" X 8" X 1.75") Frank McCarthy Artwork. James Bond.
Offered here is a terrific assortment of classic Sean Connery-era trading cards, from an array of films in Ian Fleming's James Bond universe - including approximately 215 of the 1965 Glidrose series (which featured scenes from From Russia with Love, Dr. No, and Goldfinger), 135 of Glidrose's 1966 Thunderball series (which includes an example of the cards' original Philadelphia Chewing Gum box), and 71 out of 72 of Somportex' 1965 Thunderball series (Card 24 is not included). Unrestored trading cards and bubble gum box with bright colors and clean overall appearances. The cards show only the barest signs of age, such as minor edge wear, limited stains, and light foxing. The box shows additional creases and faint smudges. Its top is present, but has been punched and torn away from the piece. It is missing a portion of the right peninsular cardboard segment, which does not affect the displayability of Frank McCarthy's wonderful jetpack artwork. This lot contains duplicate trading cards. Please see full-color, enlargeable images above for more details. Overall Grade: Very Fine.
