    Offered in this lot are U.S. paperback editions of the first four books in Ian Fleming's James Bond series of novels. Included are Casino Royale (re-titled as You Asked for It) (Popular Library, 1955), Live and Let Die (Permabooks, 1956), Moonraker (re-titled as Too Hot to Handle) (Permabooks, 1957), and two identical copies of Diamonds are Forever (Permabooks, 1957). All books are complete and unabridged. Unrestored paperback books with good color and overall very presentable appearances. They may have edge wear, noticeable creases, minute tears and spine separations, tiny chips and paper lifts, scuffs, scratches, some toning, smudges, or unobtrusive stains. Casino Royale has some writing on the front cover, one of the copies of Diamonds are Forever has a crack in the spine, and the other copy of Diamonds are Forever and Moonraker have delicate spines. Cover artwork for Live and Let Die by James Meese, for Moonraker by Lou Marchetti, and for Diamonds are Forever by William Rose.
