    Description

    Goldfinger (United Artists/Dear,1964). Italian 2 - Foglio (39.5" X 55").
James Bond completists sit up and take note: this is the first time Heritage has sold this thrilling original release Italian 2-foglio with the United Artists and Dear logos across the top. These versions are quite rare, and true 007 die-hards won't want to miss this opportunity! Based on Ian Fleming's 1959 novel, this film marks the appearance of a more carefree, wisecracking Bond and is widely considered to be perhaps the best picture in the series. In fact, with stylized elements such as the gold-painted girl, the wince-inducing laser beam, Oddjob's razor-sharp bowler hat, and Bond's modified Aston Martin, the film is quite possibly the most memorable Bond outing, and would be famously parodied decades later in the Austin Powers series, particularly Goldmember. There has been light airbrushing to the Dear logo, and minimal touch-up to address a tear in Bond's jacket and in the UA logo, fold wear with small tears in his face, fold wear with chips, and minor chips and tears in the right and bottom border. The piece now appears as smooth as 007 himself! Fine on Linen.
