Dr. No (United Artists, 1962). Folded, Very Fine+. One Sheet (27" X 41") White Smoke Style, Mitchell Hooks Artwork.
Ian Fleming's James Bond set a new standard for spy adventures on film, and offered here is a poster from the movie that kicked off the series that changed the foundation of what a spy film looks like on screen, 1962's Dr. No. Depicted by artist Mitchell Hooks on this poster are Sean Connery as James Bond along with the first live-action Bond Girls including Ursula Andress, Zena Marshall, Eunice Gayson, and Marguerite LeWars. The poster displays very light edge and fold wear, small fold separations, minor creases, faint and unobtrusive smudges, and a couple of tiny chips in the crossfolds. On the verso is a paper lift, a very small amount of ink writing, and an ink stamp. There is also a slight tape stain on the verso at the bottom crossfold which can be faintly seen in the background of the image area on the front.
