    Description

    Casino Royale (MGM, 2006). Near Mint+. Screen-Used Porcelain Napkin Ring (3.5" X 2" X 1.5") & Screen-Used Porcelain Sugar Caddy (3.5" X 2" X 1.5").
Bearing the name of the fictional Hotel Splendide, these two porcelain props from Casino Royale (2006) are rare and fantastic collector's items. The Hotel Splendide first appeared in the original Casino Royale novel, and it returned as a location in Ian Fleming's novel On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The hotel was realized on-screen in 2006 as part of director Martin Campbell's adaptation of Ian Fleming's Casino Royale, filmed at the Grandhotel Pupp in the Czech Republic. Offered here is a napkin ring and a sugar caddy, both of which were part of a tea set that can be seen in the background of James Bond's (Daniel Craig) hotel suite. Only two each of these porcelain pieces were created for the film, and these are the only non-paper props known to bear the Hotel Splendide logo. Both pieces are in immaculate condition.
