    Description

Casino Royale (Columbia/Sony, 1967/2006). One Sheets (2) (27" X 41") and (27" X 40"). "Casino Royale" was the only Ian Fleming book not sold to producers Saltzman and Broccoli for the "official" James Bond series. Because of the popularity of Sean Connery's Bond, and because of Connery's million-dollars-a-picture price, Charles Feldman decided to make the film a spoof. After production troubles and budget overruns, Feldman later told Connery it would have been cheaper to pay him the million. In 2006, after Eon Productions reacquired the rights to the book, they cast Daniel Craig as Bond in a move that turned the franchise around. These one sheets for "Casino Royale" (one old, one new) have light edge wear. The 1967 version has light fold wear with small crossfold separations, and color transfer on the fold lines. The 2006 version is rolled. Great images on both posters, with the iconic Bond girl on one, and a nice shot of Craig on the other. Very Fine/Near Mint.
