Description

Casino Royale (Columbia, 1967). Very Fine on Linen. Door Panel (20" X 60") Moneypenny Style.
One of the few James Bond films not produced by Eon productions, 1967's Casino Royale stars David Niven as Bond in a spy-spoof that pokes lighthearted fun at the immensely popular Bond films starring Sean Connery. Despite mixed reactions from critics upon its release, the star-studded cast (including names such as Ursula Andress, Peter Sellers, Orson Welles, Woody Allen, and more) help make this particular incarnation on Ian Fleming's James Bond extremely memorable. And who could forget Barbara Bouchet as Moneypenny, seen in the movie and on the lovely door panel offered here in her "007" skirt and top? The door panel displays some light edge wear, faint smudges, and stains which are mostly contained within the poster's borders. The poster also has just a few minor creases and a small tear in the background near the top of the image area. Although the poster is backed on linen, no further restoration has been attempted.
