    Description

Casino Royale (Columbia, 1967). Rolled, Fine/Very Fine. Special Poster (16" X 22.5"). Robert McGinnis Artwork.
Prior to Albert Broccoli and Harry Saltzman's deal with Ian Fleming, Columbia Pictures purchased the rights to this James Bond novel. When Sean Connery's embodiment of the spy became popular around the world, the studio completely rewrote Casino Royale as a highly stylized comedy spoof. An all-star cast, including Woody Allen, David Niven, Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, Orson Welles, Deborah Kerr, William Holden, Charles Boyer, and John Huston provide their talents in this over-the-top take on agent 007. This is the second time Heritage has offered this advertisement for a full-color reproduction poster, which could be received by mail for a charge of 50¢. An interesting and unusual lot for the Bond collector, this piece shows mild edge wear, a few pinholes, very minor tears, and unobtrusive stains. There are soft folds, as well as some light foxing towards the top and in the borders. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
