DescriptionHow Green Was My Valley (20th Century Fox, 1941). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style B.
John Ford's sentimental story of a Welsh mining family won the Best Picture Academy Award in 1941, and it remains one of the best remembered films of Ford's career. Of course, it's no surprise the picture garnered such acclaim with its stellar casting of the talented Walter Pidgeon, Maureen O'Hara, Roddy McDowell and Donald Crisp. Previously, the poster showed wear in the folds, with some separation and a few minor chips. There has also been touchup to a scratch in Walter Pidgeon's cheek, and to some pinholes in the corners. The poster had a chip from the bottom right corner into the lower edge of John Ford's name, as well as a small bit of paper missing from the lower left corner, but these have now been professionally restored. Fine/Very Fine one Linen.
Estimate: $400 - $800.
