    Description

House on Haunted Hill (Allied Artists, 1959). One Sheet (27" X 41") Reynold Brown Artwork.
Artist Reynold Brown created a masterpiece with this creepy one sheet, including the haunted manse of the title. The actual house used for the film's opening sequence was the Dennis Brown House in Los Angeles, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and built in 1924. The poster also features a spot-on rendering of the sinister Vincent Price, playing the role of a creepy millionaire who offers ten thousand dollars to five people that must spend one evening in his unsettling abode. This piece is always a collector favorite, and for good reason. Professional touchup has been applied to the folds, a couple pin and staple holes, minor border tears, and chips in three corners. Very Fine- on Linen.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
