House of Horrors (Universal, 1946). Very Fine on Linen. Three Sheet (41.5" X 80.25").
Never before offered at Heritage, this three sheet has one of the best images on House of Horrors' domestic paper. Rondo Hatton, who was afflicted with acromegaly, a disfiguring disease, used his unusual visage to great affect in many Universal features. Typically cast as the murderer, Hatton plays the Creeper, who is used by a murderous sculptor (Martin Kosleck) to take care of his critics. Virginia Grey also stars as a potential victim. The poster has received professional touchup to minor fold wear and separation. Unaddressed wear includes very small chips and tears, pinholes, and a few unobtrusive stains, most of which is found in the borders.

    Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
