    Description

House of Dracula (Universal, 1945). One Sheet (27" X 41").
After the success of House of Frankenstein, Universal quickly put a sequel into production, reuniting their stable of monsters once again. Glenn Strange electrified audiences in his role of Frankenstein's Monster, John Carradine flapped his way back into Dracula's cape and Lon Chaney Jr. bared fangs once again as the Wolf Man. This poster, although a late entry in the Universal Monster series, remains one of the best and most popular among collectors. It has been conserved with corrections to fold wear, pinholes into the interior, and tears and chips in the borders and folds. There was a bit of paper loss in the Monster's chin, and there was a diagonal tear from the left border through Lon Chaney's credit. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.

    Estimate: $5,000 - $10,000.
