    Description

    Horse Feathers (Paramount, R-1936). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
This is a very rare reissue card from the Marx Brother's classic madcap comedy about university life. Originally released by Paramount Studios in 1932, these cards are more rare than the original release cards from the title. Groucho Marx is Professor Wagstaff, the president of Huxley College, Chico plays an ice salesman/bootlegger, Harpo is the local dogcatcher and girl chaser, and Zeppo, is cast as Wagstaff's son, providing the love interest. This was the brother's fourth film for the studio and is usually ranked second to their masterpiece Duck Soup, which would oddly be their last film for Paramount before they were released from their contract. This great card pictures Harpo and Chico in one of their classic moments from the film. The lobby has only minor foxing around the borders and tanning to the backside. The colors are vibrant and there has been absolutely no restoration to this wonderful card. Very Fine+.
