The Wolf Man (Universal, 1941). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Lon Chaney makes his first appearance in this, the first film in the Wolf Man series at Universal Pictures. This moment from the film depicts the gypsy woman Maleva (Maria Ouspenskaya) discovering Larry Talbot on the moors, asleep and awaiting the change back to human form. The film costarred some of Universal's best talent including Claude Rains, Warren William, Evelyn Ankers and the legendary Bela Lugosi. On first inspection, this scene card is so nice, you would think it's near mint. However, on closer look, there are a couple of pinholes in the background that are virtually unnoticeable. There are also a couple of small smudges in the borders and a tiny tear in the center of the bottom border. The card has brilliant color and would please any fan of this Universal monster classic. Very Fine+.
