    The Mummy's Ghost (Universal, 1944). Fine/Very Fine. Title Lobby Card (11" X 14").
That's veteran horror star Lon Chaney Jr. under the ancient Egyptian bandages as Kharis, with John Carradine as Yousef Bey, the current master of the unrelenting, undead menace. The third installment in Universal's Mummy series, this film featured Chaney's second appearance of three as Kharis. The studio originally tapped Acquanetta, nicknamed "The Venezuelan Volcano," for the role of the reincarnated Princess Ananka, but an injury on the first day of filming prompted a quick recast with pin-up model Ramsay Ames taking the part. A rarity for sure and offered for the first time in over a decade, this title card has slight edge wear, pinholes, small tears, and minor paper lifts. One of the tears extends into the top of Chaney's head, the card has a thin pencil mark into Robert Lowery's image, and there are unobtrusive stains and smudges in the borders. There has been light partial touchup applied to some of the tears, pinholes, a replaced chip in the upper border, and there are small pieces of paper tape on the verso. Fine/Very Fine.
