    Description

    The Monster (MGM, 1925). Uncut Pressbook (6 Pages, 11" X 18").
Director Roland West made his lasting mark in the cinema with "old dark house" style thrillers and this mystery, starring Lon Chaney, was set inside an insane asylum. Paper on this title is incredibly scarce, and always in demand among horror collectors. This rare and uncut pressbook is a Heritage first, and showcases images of outstanding publicity material for the film, such as a one sheet, a roto one sheet, two three sheets, a twenty-four sheet, a six sheet, a glass slide, a window card, eight lobby cards, an insert, two half sheets, and two heralds. There is fold wear with a tear on the cover with a tape stain, and the pages are separated. There is edge wear with tears, a dust shadow in the lower border of some of the pages, and creasing. Despite these issues, the pressbook displays well, and will make an excellent addition to any serious horror collection. Folded, Fine.
