Description

The Lodger (20th Century Fox, 1944). Lobby Cards (2) (11" X 14"). This film was based on Mrs. Marie Belloc-Lowndes' classic novel "Jack the Ripper". A mysterious and secretive young man (Laird Cregar) moves in with a family in London's Whitechapel district. The arrival of this "Lodger" just happens to coincides with a series of brutal murders and the family soon becomes suspicious. Offered in this lot are two cards from this title that feature Cregar. There are corner pinholes, scuffs, and small smudge marks. The card with Cregar behind the wall has a light vertical crease. Fine/Very Fine.
