Description

The Haunted House (First National, 1928). Window Card (14" X 22").
Borrowing heavily from Paul Leni's The Cat and the Canary, this First National early talkie stars former "Keystone Cop" Chester Conklin and a young Thelma Todd putting a more comedic spin on the tale of heirs to a will locked in a house at night. Finding any posters on this title is rare and we are pleased to offer a window card, the only we have ever seen, for this title. It has a chip in the lower right corner just extending into the artwork, a tear in the bottom border, minor surface paper loss in the lower left border, creasing in the upper imprint area, and toning at the top and lower right. Very Good.
