    Description

    The Curse of the Cat People (RKO, 1944). One Sheet (27" X 41").
    This in-name-only sequel to Cat People follows an imaginative but lonely child named Amy (Ann Carter) who conjures an imaginary friend. Add to the mix a crazy old former actress who lives in a crumbling mansion, her psychologically damaged daughter, and the ghost of Amy's dead mother - Irena (Simone Simon reprising her role from the previous film), and you have an intriguing tale of madness and menace. The original director was replaced, and Robert Wise stepped in to complete filming, his first directorial credit. Very light touchup has been applied to the folds, and the poster still shows some mild unaddressed ink stamp bleedthrough in the lower image. This, however, does nothing to affect the poster's overall wonderful presentation. Very Fine on Linen.
