Description

The Bride of Frankenstein (Universal, 1935). Lobby Card (11" X 14") Ernest Thesiger as the evil Dr. Pretorius assists Dr. Frankenstein (Colin Clive) in helping their latest creation take her first tentative steps. This was the moment audiences waited for as, at last, the bandages were about to be removed and Frankenstein's mate (Elsa Lanchester) was to be revealed. This highly prized and sought after lobby card has strong color and wonderful imagery. There are staple holes in the borders with a couple in the credits, and chips on all four corners. The card has also been cleaned, but is unbacked. The professional restoration on this card was very well done, rendering these defects virtually undetectable. Fine+.
