The Bride of Frankenstein (Universal, 1935). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
Henry Frankenstein (Colin Clive) and Dr. Pretorius (Ernest Thesiger) both play the roles of mad scientists as they attempt to create a mate for the Monster (Boris Karloff) on this classic lobby. Beneath those bandages, waiting to breathe life, is the put together body of a female monster (Elsa Lanchester). This is one of the pivotal moments of James Whale's legendary horror film. There is a slight fading of colors, and the pinholes in the borders and image area have been touched up, as has a tear in the bottom border that extends into the "F" of "Frankenstein," a top left corner bend, and a stain in the right border. Fine.
