Boris Karloff returns for the final time in his portrayal of the infamous Frankenstein Monster. He is joined by Basil Rathbone as Dr. Frankenstein's son, Bela Lugosi as the deformed Ygor, and Josephine Hutchinson as Rathbone's wife. This magnificent title card conveys all the fear and horror befitting this excellent entry in the Universal monster franchise. Prior to the expert restoration, there were pinholes in the borders and background, a small tear in the bottom border, a horizontal fold just below the "Son of" part of the title, and a vertical fold just inside the background on the left side. Fine+.
