    Description

Son of Frankenstein / Bride of Frankenstein Combo (Realart, R-1948). One Sheet (27" X 41").
When Realart acquired the Universal sound film library (1930-1946) in 1948, this was one of the first of their many successful double-bills. An entire new generation got to feast on all the best Universal Golden Age monster films ever made, two at a time...and on the cheap. Theatres were ecstatic, with these "classics" outperforming most of the brand new first run films, and at half the price. This great one sheet has two of the best, and sported Realart's dramatic new art hype. They added things like a sexy girl wrapped like a mummy in the upper left corner, and tossed in a skeleton hiding behind one of the title cards. With its terrific centered image of a ghoulish green Boris Karloff as the Frankenstein Monster, the poster displays nicely. There is some fold wear with small separations in the left and right border folds, and small crossfold separations. Very Fine.
