    Description

Son of Frankenstein/Bride of Frankenstein Combo (Realart, 1947). One Sheet (27" X 41").
When Realart acquired the Universal sound film library (1930-1946) in 1948, this was one of the first of their many successful double bills. An entire new generation got to feast on all the best Universal Golden Age monster films ever made, two at a time...and on the cheap. Theatres were ecstatic, with these "classics" outperforming most of the brand new first run films, and at half the price. This fantastic one sheet has two of the best, and sports Realart's improved graphic design style. A skeleton hides behind one of the title cards, and a ghoulishly green Boris Karloff as the Frankenstein Monster looms in the center of this popular one sheet. The poster show signs of light use, including some edge wear with tears, stains and paper loss in the bottom left corner, a tear and slight paper loss in the bottom right corner, small tape stains at the top, and an extra vertical crease. Fine+.
