Set in the early days of the Meji Period, this Japanese ghost story is revered for its supernatural-horror elements and themes of socioeconomic injustice. When a wealthy landlord causes the death of a poor farmer, enslaves the man's wife and daughter, and kills a snake the wife was protecting, he unleashes the serpents curse. A Heritage first, this beautiful Japanese poster displays wonderfully with very little corner wear. The poster has been backed on very thin transparent paper.
