Description

Onibaba (Toho, 1966). Japanese B2 (20" X 28.5").
Haunting doesn't begin to describe this country-of-origin piece from the Kaneto Shindo's horror film, Onibaba. In it, observant eyes are seen overlooking a woman being attacked, as a figure in a demon mask lurks in the background. Director William Friedkin was so inspired by the mask in Onibaba, he used a similar design in his horror masterpiece, The Exorcist. This poster has horizontal creases, pinholes in the borders, and a tear in the top with tape on the verso. Fine/Very Fine.
