G. Rappus's striking illustration of the Hannya mask dominates this first East German release poster for the seminal Japanese horror story. Starring Nobuko Otowa, Kei Sato, Jitsuko Yoshimura, and Jukichi Uno. Directed by Kaneto Shindo. Backed to linen, the poster received touchup to the original folds and light fold wear, but is largely unrestored otherwise. It presents well.
